Dates & opening hours
When does the festival take place?
Friday 14th and Saturday 15th August 2026. Doors open at 5:00 PM, concerts until 3:00 AM, each night.
Does the festival go ahead if it rains?
Yes, rain or storm: the festival is open air and happens whatever the weather. Dress accordingly and bring good shoes - the site is a field.
Tickets & prices
How much is the entrance?
Pay what you want, from €3: you decide the value you want to give the event, and it is free for children under 12. By booking, you support a non-profit association.
Should I book in advance?
It is recommended: booking online via HelloAsso guarantees your spot and supports the organisation. You can also buy your ticket at the gate on the night, at the same price.
Can I leave the festival and come back in?
No: any exit is final, and you will need to buy a new ticket to come back. Plan ahead before entering - food and drinks await you inside.
Are children and minors welcome?
Yes: entrance is free for children under 12. Minors may attend on their own, but we prefer them accompanied by an adult.
Getting there
How do I get to the festival?
Rue du Moulin, 70400 Frahier-et-Chatebier, 20 minutes from Belfort, France. Access is only from the Frahier side of the street: Rue du Moulin is closed to traffic on the Chatebier side, just past the entrance to the accessible and partner car park. There is no shuttle or public transport. The free car park is 100 metres from the site, on the right-hand side of the road just before you arrive, and the last 100 metres are walked along the street; only the accessible and partner parking is at the festival gate.
Is the site wheelchair accessible?
Yes: accessible parking near the entrance, adapted toilets, and the ground is manageable, though it remains a field. If you would like assistance, ask ahead through the contact form.
On site
Is there food and drink on site?
Yes: the association's bar (open 5 PM to 2 AM, 100% of proceeds fund the festival) and six food trucks, from savoury to sweet. Cash and cards accepted; browse their menus on the site map.
How do I check the allergens in the food and drinks?
Every bar and food-truck menu lists its allergens line by line: open the site map, then the menu of the stand you are interested in. If you have a severe allergy, tell the stand before ordering.
What are the alcohol rules?
Alcohol sales stop at 2:00 AM, when the bar closes. No alcohol is sold to minors, as required by French law; ID may be requested at the entrance as well as at the bar. Outside alcohol is not allowed on site.
Is there a water point?
Yes, a water point is available inside the festival.
Is there a harm reduction stand?
Yes, between the entrance and the toilets, run by volunteers. You will find earplugs, ear defenders in adult and child sizes, male and female condoms, breathalysers, and pocket ashtrays, all free.
Can I buy a festival t-shirt?
Yes: the official Frahier'stival t-shirts come in sizes XS to 4XL. They are €11 on the online ticketing and €12 on site during the festival.
Can I smoke on site?
No: smoking is not allowed on the festival ground or at the campsite. Free pocket ashtrays are still handed out at the entrance, and that is not a contradiction: the site is a borrowed field, and a butt on the ground is the worse of the two. If you do smoke anyway, keep it with you.
What is not allowed on site?
Fires and barbecues, drones, razors, laser pointers, aerosols, weapons of any category, gas bottles, generators, pyrotechnics (flares, personal fireworks), tools, candles and lanterns, helmets, as well as drinks and containers - so outside alcohol and glass containers too. Animals are not admitted, even on a leash. Anything confiscated at the gate is thrown away: it is not kept and not handed back on the way out.
Are there rules to follow on site?
A few, and they fit on one line: no campfires and no pyrotechnics, no smoking, take your rubbish with you (bins and free pocket ashtrays are provided) and keep your temper, with the volunteers as much as with other festival-goers. Last rule, the easiest one: not having fun is strictly forbidden.
I lost something during the festival - where do I ask?
Go to the bar: it doubles as the festival's lost & found. After the event, write to contact@frahierstival.fr.
Will I be photographed during the festival?
You may be. Entering the site counts as accepting image rights: photos and videos taken during the festival may be published on the Frahier'stival website as well as on its social media. If an image of you is a problem, ask us to take it down and we will.
Camping
Can I camp on site?
Yes, a campsite is available to festival-goers, across Rue du Moulin, with a car park of its own. The principle is simple: pitch your tent, take your rubbish back with you and leave the pitch as you found it.
What is not allowed at the campsite?
Fires and barbecues, drones, razors, laser pointers, aerosols, weapons of any category, gas bottles, generators, pyrotechnics, tools, candles and lanterns. Smoking is not allowed there either, as on the rest of the site: the ground is a field and dry grass catches fire in seconds. Anything confiscated is thrown away: it is not kept and not handed back.
Music & entertainment
Who is playing this year? Which music styles?
13 artists across two stages: rock, pop, metal, electro and hardstyle DJ sets. Every concert takes place on the main stage; the Musicalix stage is MUSICAL PARTY's own, where they run their giant blind tests and DJ sets from the moment the doors open and between every act. The full hour-by-hour, stage-by-stage schedule is in the line-up.
What happens between the concerts?
Giant blind tests with MUSICAL PARTY - just be there to play - and the famous cancoillotte eating contest, with sign-up directly at the bar.
Is there a firework display?
Yes, one each evening: Friday and Saturday at 10:30 PM, fired over the site, subject to authorisation from the préfecture. It is visible from anywhere on the field, and best watched facing the stage. Not to be confused with personal fireworks, which are banned on site.
How do I make sure I don't miss a concert?
Install the festival app and enable the alerts: you will get a notification about 15 minutes before each concert and activity. On the day, the Live page also shows who is on stage and who is next.
Android says "Unsafe app blocked" when I install the app - is it dangerous?
No. It is an app-packaging warning, not a security alert: the app is built and signed by Google from this website and contains no outside code. Android shows it because the format Chrome generates targets a slightly older Android version than your phone. To carry on, tap "More details", then "Install anyway".
Get involved
How do I enter the cancoillotte contest?
Sign up at the bar on the night, free and open to everyone. The contest crowns the evening's biggest cancoillotte eater, and the winner walks away with a prize. It is the most fiercely contested moment of the festival after the concerts.
I'm an artist - how do I apply?
Through the artist application form (the "Are you an artist?" panel of the contact form): introduce your project and include your listening links.
How can I volunteer or become a partner?
The festival is run by a team of 50 volunteers and warmly welcomes helping hands and local partners. Write to us at contact@frahierstival.fr.
